Kim Kooker is an associate in the Austin office of Latham & Watkins. She advises public and private companies on a range of complex transactions and corporate matters.
Kim maintains an active pro bono practice, representing low-income individuals in partnership with Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas.
While in law school, Kim participated in the UCLA Voting Rights Project Clinic, served as a judicial extern for Judge Sandra S. Ikuta of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and interned with the American Civil Liberties Union Voting Rights Project.
Prior to joining the firm, Kim worked as a law clerk for Judge David A. Ezra of the US District Court for the Western District of Texas and worked as a summer associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Prior to law school, Kim worked in data analytics and marketing for a film studio.
