Kevin Samkian is a finance associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Restructuring Practice.

Kevin advises companies in out-of-court restructurings and chapter 11 proceedings, including prepackaged chapter 11 cases, debtor-in-possession financings, and bankruptcy litigation matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Kevin served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Marvin P. Isgur of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Kevin received his JD from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he served as an associate editor of the Pepperdine Law Review.

Kevin’s experience includes advising:

  • SI Group in its comprehensive recapitalization transaction and reduction of funded debt obligations by approximately US$1.7 billion
