Kevin Carlson is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.
Kevin represents public and private companies in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts across the country. He focuses on high-stakes cases, consumer class actions, bankruptcy matters, contract disputes, and government investigations.
Kevin also maintains an active pro bono practice that includes representing asylum seekers in immigration court and prisoners in civil rights cases. In 2025, the National Immigrant Justice Center recognized Kevin as a Rising Star for his pro bono work on behalf of immigrants. He joined Latham after practicing in the Chicago office of an international law firm. He also served as a law clerk to then-Chief Judge Travis R. McDonough and Judge Harry S. Mattice, Jr, of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
