Kaylie Springer is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.
Kaylie represents companies in a broad range of high-stakes litigation in both state and federal court. She has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including motion practice, fact and expert discovery, trial, and appeals. Kaylie also has experience representing clients in a broad range of sensitive internal investigations, including numerous confidential investigations involving discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct allegations against CEOs and other C-Suite executives.
Kaylie maintains an active pro bono practice. Recent experience includes volunteering with the Election Protection Hotline to ensure all voters have an equal opportunity to vote and have that vote count, assisting clients seeking protection under the Violence Against Women Act, and representing a national public interest law center and gun violence prevention organization in an administrative law challenge seeking to compel the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to sufficiently regulate AR-style “ghost guns.”*
Prior to joining Latham, Kaylie was an associate at another international law firm. She also previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ruth Bermudez Montenegro of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
