Kayla Matthews is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.
Ms. Matthews received her JD, Business Law Certificate, and Media and Entertainment Law Certificate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she graduated Order of the Coif. While attending law school, she served as a senior submissions editor for the Southern California Law Review and as a teaching assistant for the Business Organizations and Intellectual Property courses. She also served as the president of the Women’s Law Association and as the academic chair of the First Generation Professionals Program. While at Gould, she received the LA Copyright Society Peter D. Knecht Memorial Award and the Roger Sherman Memorial Prize.
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Matthews was a summer associate in the Los Angeles office.
