Katherine Griffitts, an associate in the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice, represents litigants in high-stakes civil business disputes in state and federal courts across the country. Katherine represents individuals, private and public companies, and private equity firms in complex civil disputes in all stages of litigation.
Katherine has litigated disputes in trial and appellate forums across the country involving claims of:
- Fraud
- Breach of contract
- Unfair competition
- Trade secret misappropriation
- Computer Fraud and Abuse Act violations
- Digital Millennium Copyright Act violations
- Copyright infringement
- Products liability
Katherine maintains an active pro bono practice, representing tenants in housing proceedings and asylum applicants. She serves on the firm’s Women Enriching Business Committee and sits on the Ms. JD Board of Directors.
Katherine received her JD magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School where she received the A. Harold Weber Moot Court Award for outstanding achievement in the art of oral advocacy. Katherine clerked for the Hon. Charles F. Lettow of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
