Katherine Cole is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Katherine returned to Latham after serving as a law clerk to Judge Timothy J. Kelly of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. She previously served as a law clerk to Judge Eric D. Miller of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Katherine received her JD from Stanford Law School, where she graduated with high pro bono distinction. While in law school, she served as an editor of the Stanford Law Review and executive editor of the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties. Her work was published in the Stanford Law Review as well as the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law.

Katherine also served as a judicial extern for Judge James E. Boasberg of the US District Court for the District of Columbia during her final year at Stanford Law School.

Prior to law school, Katherine received her BA in Economics modified with Mathematics from Dartmouth College, where she graduated summa cum laude.
