Karen Newlove, Chief Client Development Officer, oversees the firm’s global business development and client engagement programs.
Ms. Newlove leads a team of dedicated business development and marketing professionals organized in seven verticals. Working closely with Latham partners, Ms. Newlove and her BD team work across practices, industry teams, and markets to engage Latham clients, win new business, and deliver client-centric programming.
She has helped partners to strengthen Latham client relationships across the firm’s global platform via Latham’s practice structure and new business teams as well as the deployment of robust client engagement and client insights programs, all underpinned by a suite of marketing software tools.
Ms. Newlove joined Latham in 2000 as a business development manager. She spent two years resident in the firm’s Paris office as a director, and became Chief Client Development Officer in 2016.
She began her professional services career as an associate at HOK Architecture before moving into legal services at O’Melveny & Myers.
