Karen Eberle advises clients on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on public company representation.

Ms. Eberle draws on her in-depth transactional experience to guide leading public and private companies and investment banks on:

  • Public company representation
  • Corporate governance matters
  • Capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs)
  • Mergers and acquisitions

Ms. Eberle was an associate and counsel in Latham’s San Francisco and Menlo Park offices prior to 2015. 

She rejoined the firm from Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company, where she managed corporate and securities law compliance, including US Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and disclosure, and supported investor relations, corporate and employee communications, and stock administration functions.

Ms. Eberle’s recent experience includes representing: 

  • Expensify in its US$263 million IPO
  • Mubadala Investment Company PJSC in GlobalFoundries’ US$2.6 billion IPO
  • Amplitude in its Direct Listing
  • Hippo Holdings and Joby Aviation with respect to corporate and securities law compliance
