Kamran Jamil is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins.

Kamran represents companies in securities and white-collar defense litigation. He also advises companies under federal and state investigations. 

Prior to joining Latham, Kamran served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. John Houston in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. 

During law school, Kamran served as Managing Editor of the California Law Review and as law clerk to US Senator Alex Padilla on his Senate Judiciary assignment. Before law school, Kamran served as a policy assistant in the Executive Unit of the California Attorney General's Office.

In November 2024, Kamran was selected to represent the American Bar Association at the UN Climate Conference in Azerbaijan.
