Kamal Dalal advises clients on a range of structured finance transactions with a focus on digital infrastructure and emerging assets.

Kamal guides banks and private credit providers — including asset managers, fintechs, pension funds, and insurers — as well as originators and sponsors on:

She works across a range of asset classes, including data centers, GPUs, lease receivables, corporate, SME and sovereign loans, mortgages, and esoteric assets.

Kamal also has experience in advising clients on regulatory matters, including ESG considerations, and regularly contributes to industry publications and conferences.

Kamal’s representative experience includes advising:

  • Barclays and SMBC as underwriters of the first-ever public securitization of data centers in EMEA, sponsored by Vantage Data Centers (named Overall Securitization Deal of the Year at GC’s European Securitization Awards 2025)
  • Lenders, structuring advisors, and arrangers of various private data center financings and securitizations in EMEA, including multijurisdictional portfolios of data center assets at various stages of development
  • Initial purchasers, placement agents, and arrangers of US data center securitization transactions on matters of English law
  • Cogent Communications on its inaugural securitization of IPv4 address receivables on matters of English law
  • Asset managers, investors, and insurance providers of synthetic securitization and capital relief trades in respect of portfolios of loans across several geographies
  • Arrangers and initial purchasers in establishing Reg S / Rule 144A structured note programs and issuances of repackaged notes
  • Structuring advisors and investors of financings of GPU assets
  • Lenders and arrangers of bespoke receivables financing and inventory trading solutions
  • Barclays Partner Finance as original lender, servicer, and seller in relation to the securitization of a portfolio of point-of-sale consumer credit loans involving significant risk transfer
  • UK SME lending platforms in connection with their accreditation under the UK’s Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) and Recovery Loan Scheme (RLS) and the implementation of associated funding programs
  • A US asset manager in structuring and investing in the securitization of a portfolio of Spanish SME loans backed by the Pan-European Guarantee Fund in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
