Kamal Dalal is a counsel in the Finance Department of the London office of Latham and a member of the Structured Finance Practice.

Kamal represents banks, asset managers, pension funds, and insurers, as well as originators and sponsors, on a range of structured finance transactions with a focus on digital infrastructure and emerging and esoteric assets. She advises on private and public securitizations, as well as other structured finance products, including repacks, capital relief trades, credit solutions, and private credit partnerships.

Kamal works across a range of asset classes and has advised on many innovative and “first-of-their-kind” structures, including securitizations and structured financings of data center leases, GPUs, entertainment and music royalties, trade receivables, SME loans, consumer loans, sovereign loans, equity release mortgages, and other non-traditional assets.

Kamal also advises clients on regulatory matters and regularly contributes to industry publications and conferences.

  • EdgeConneX on its inaugural European data center securitization, sponsored by EQT, the first to be structured as a master trust in Europe and referencing Dutch data centers
  • Lenders and underwriters of Yondr’s inaugural £532 million data center securitization on the public capital markets
  • Lenders and underwriters on the initial £600 million data center securitization (and subsequent £254 million tap issuance) for Vantage Data Centers, the first ever public securitization of data centers in EMEA (Securitisation Deal of the Year, GC’s European Securitisation Awards 2025)
  • Key investors and Goldman Sachs in relation to Nscale’s US$1.4 billion delayed draw term loan backed by GPUs
  • Lenders on a multi-jurisdictional portfolio of data center assets at various stages of development in EMEA
  • Potential bidders on the acquisition of a data center operator
