Julia Wenzel is an associate in the Hamburg office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Tax Department.

Mrs. Wenzel advises clients in German and international tax law focusing on the tax aspects of private equity and corporate transactions and domestic and multi-jurisdictional tax planning.

Prior to joining Latham, she gained experience working as an associate in the Tax Department of another leading international law firm in Frankfurt.

  • Mainova on the sale of a majority stake in its data center business to Blackrock
  • Apollo on the €1 billion investment in the Suedewo Portfolio (residential real estate portfolio controlled by Vonovia)
