Juan Rehl-Garcia is an associate in Latham’s Orange County office and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department and Complex Commercial Litigation Practice.

Juan advises clients on a broad array of employment law issues. His practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling. Juan’s past clients represent the following sectors:

  • Retail
  • Life sciences
  • Telecommunications

In addition, Juan’s pro bono practice has included representation of petitioners in adoption proceedings and counseling healthcare providers on reproductive health laws.

Prior to joining Latham, Juan worked in the Los Angeles office of a nationally recognized leader in labor and employment law. As a law student at USC Gould, Juan served as editor-in-chief of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal. He also externed in the Central District of California.

Before entering the legal profession, Juan worked in public relations, focusing in the areas of corporate reputation and crisis communications.

Juan’s past experience includes:

  • Representing employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment brought pursuant to Title VII and California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act*
  • Defending employers in wage and hour actions brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act*
  • Conducting workplace investigations*
  • Counseling employers in the preparation of arbitration agreements and other policies*
