Josh Goldstein is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins. He represents publicly traded and privately held companies in navigating antitrust transaction regulatory reviews and government conduct investigations. Josh also counsels clients on premerger notifications pursuant to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act. He has experience in a range of industries, including energy, retail and consumer goods, healthcare, and technology.
Josh maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking to seal criminal records, legal name and/or gender marker changes, and immigration status changes. Additionally, he assists the Election Protection Hotline in resolving voters’ inquiries.
While attending the University of Virginia School of Law, Josh was a leader in the law school community. He served as the co-director of the Peer Advisor Program and as a research assistant to a leading corporate law scholar.
Prior to law school, Josh worked for two years as a Certified Public Accountant in the assurance practice of an international accounting firm. He supported integrated public and private company financial statement audits.
Josh is a summa cum laude graduate and Beta Gamma Sigma inductee of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, majoring in Accounting and Finance and minoring in Economics. He received the Accounting Faculty’s Award for Academic Excellence.
