Josephine Levy is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Josephine advises clients across all areas of UK and EU competition law, including merger control, foreign direct investment (FDI), abuse of dominance, competition compliance, and regulatory matters. 

Prior to qualifying into the Antitrust & Competition team, Josephine spent two years training in the London office, gaining experience in the Leveraged Finance, Corporate (M&A / Private Equity), and Litigation & Trial departments. She was also a visiting lecturer in Public Law at City University.

Josephine’s experience includes advising: 

  • Thermo Fisher in obtaining CMA Phase 1 and German Phase 2 unconditional clearance of its US$3.1 billion acquisition of Olink
  • Abcam plc, a global life sciences company, on its US$5.7 billion takeover by Danaher Corporation
  • Vue Cinemas in acting for the ad hoc group of senior lenders to Vue Cinemas in relation to its initial c. €1 billion debt and equity restructuring transaction and subsequent recapitalization
