Joseph Sung is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Sung represents financial institutions, private equity firms, and corporate borrowers in a broad range of leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, recapitalizations, working capital financings, and other domestic, cross-border, and multicurrency financings. He has experience in syndicated finance and direct lending transactions in a broad array of industries, such as industrials, retail, healthcare, hospitality, energy, and technology.

Mr. Sung is a member of the firm’s Security Committee and the firm’s Asian & Middle Eastern Lawyers Group. Mr. Sung joined the firm in 2016 after graduating from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he served as an executive senior editor of the Southern California Law Review and received the James G. Holbrook Award.
