Joseph Sitzmann is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Sitzmann rejoined Latham after serving as a law clerk for Judge Timothy J. Kelly of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Sitzmann was an associate at Latham, and from 2020 to 2021, he served as a law clerk to Judge Joel M. Flaum of the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Mr. Sitzmann graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served on the University of Chicago Law Review and as a member of the Supreme Court and Appellate Clinic. He published his Comment with the Law Review. He also completed an internship while in law school at the US Department of Justice and full-time undergraduate internships at the Supreme Court of the United States and the Federal Judicial Center.
