Jonas Hallstein is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.
Jonas represents public and private companies in complex litigation in state and federal courts.
Jonas leverages his acute analytical and technical abilities to guide public and private companies in complex commercial matters, primary in the class and mass action spaces. He also has experience litigating insurance and business-to-business disputes, as well as government enforcement actions.
Jonas maintains an active pro bono practice, representing incarcerated individuals against prisons and personnel for deprivations of their constitutional rights.
Prior to rejoining Latham, Jonas served as a law clerk for Judge Joel M. Flaum of the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
