John Gregory (J.G.) Jones

Associate

J.G. Jones is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.

J.G. Jones primarily handles complex commercial litigation and trial work.  

Mr. Jones has experience representing Fortune 500 clients in high stakes arbitrations and litigation matters in federal and state court. Mr. Jones’s practice covers a broad range of topics including commercial contract disputes, soft IP disputes, and employment disputes. He also has experience with white collar defense and investigation matters including internal investigations and investigations by the Department of Justice. 

Mr. Jones maintains an active pro bono practice, representing Afghan nationals who have aided US troops abroad in applying for Special Immigrant Visas. 

While in law school, Mr. Jones served as an editor of the Virginia Law & Business Review. Mr. Jones also participated in the prosecution clinic, trying cases in Virginia General District Court and negotiating plea agreements.
