Joe helps companies successfully raise capital to meet their financing needs. He has experience in:

  • Underwritten public equity offerings
  • Convertible debt offerings

Joe brings experience across multiple jurisdictions and transaction types. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, including advisory work for organizations that support refugees and other vulnerable groups.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Joe worked in consulting. At law school, he was awarded the Prosser Prize in Conflict of Laws.

Joe has experience representing:

  • Azule Energy, an oil and gas joint venture between bp and Eni, in connection with its offering of US$1.5 billion senior notes
  • Aker BP, a public Norwegian oil and gas company, in connection with its offering of US$1 billion senior notes
  • The underwriters on the issuance of US$1.15 billion class A ordinary shares and the initial purchasers on the issuance of US$3.16 billion convertible senior notes of Nebius Group, an artificial intelligence infrastructure company
