Joe maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients on immigration, guardianship, and insurance matters.

Joe also serves on his firm’s Associates Committee.

Prior to practicing law, Joe served as a judicial extern for Judge M. Margaret McKeown of the US Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and for Judge Jill. L. Burkhardt of the US District Court for the Southern District of California. While in law school, Joe served as a lead articles editor for the San Diego Law Review.
