Jo Martin serves as Latham’s in-house employment counsel for the London and EMEA offices. Ms. Martin works with firm leadership to provide strategic day-to-day advice on employment law and risk management throughout EMEA on all aspects of the employment life cycle.
Ms. Martin originally joined Latham in January 2021 on the Attorney Development team as Manager of Global Associate Development, managing the London Attorney Training team and offering guidance and support to the London Associates Committee and London partnership.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Martin spent 12 years in private practice, specializing in employment law. She garnered a wide range of experience in both domestic and cross-border labor law, and has represented both employers and employees on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
