Jiaheng (John) Zhang advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, creditors, and other clients in complex domestic and cross border corporate restructurings, liability management, distressed financings, and mergers and acquisitions.

John is an active contributor of articles on cutting-edge restructuring topics to leading industry publications, including Law 360, the Harvard Law School Bankruptcy Roundtable, and INSOL International.

  • Avon Products, Inc., holding company of the Avon International beauty brand, and its affiliated debtors, in connection with its chapter 11 cases, with approximately US$1.3 billion in funded debt and significant potential mass tort liabilities*
  • Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC, one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of mattresses in North America, in connection with its chapter 11 case with approximately US$1.9 billion in debt obligations*
