Senior Information Governance Attorney
Jenny Allen is a Data Governance Attorney at Latham & Watkins. Jenny leads a team focused on internal legal holds and data governance issues, including electronic document preservation, collection, review and production for a variety of legal matters. Jenny's practice also involves developing policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices for internal data governance issues, including security and privacy issues.
Prior to joining the Technology Department, Jenny was a senior litigation associate in the firm's Orange County office, where her practice focused primarily on securities litigation. Jenny has extensive e-discovery experience, advising on and managing numerous large-scale document collections, reviews and productions.
Jenny is the former co-president of the Orange County Stanford Association Board, former president of the Stanford Networking Breakfast Club of Orange County, and a former member of the Stanford Alumni Association Board of Directors. In 2018, the Stanford Associates’ Board of Governors awarded Jenny the Governors’ Award for her long-standing alumni volunteer service. She continues to actively plan events for the Stanford community in Orange County.
