Leveraging her extensive subject-matter expertise, Jecoliah advises clients in a variety of federal regulatory matters related to the electric utility, oil, and natural gas industries, including litigation, compliance and enforcement actions before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). She analyzes issues under the Federal Power Act, Natural Gas Act, Natural Gas Policy Act, Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act, Public Utility Holding Company Act, Interstate Commerce Act, and various state energy industry restructuring statutes affecting the domestic energy industry. Additionally, Jecoliah also counsels market participants on regional transmission organization (RTO) and independent system operator (ISO) market rules and requirements across the US.
Before joining Latham, Jecoliah gained significant experience at a national law firm representing electric utilities and cooperatives, natural gas companies, and local distribution companies in applications, litigation, and rulemaking proceedings before FERC, the US Courts of Appeal, and various state commissions.
Before law school, Jecoliah worked as an environmental scientist researching long-term impacts of natural resource management and energy policy decisions involving US and Canadian public lands.
