Jarred Muller is a litigation associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Connectivity, Privacy & Information practice. Jarred specializes in advising technology firms and executives in navigating complex commercial and regulatory matters, including with respect to consumer protection and data privacy issues.

Jarred has extensive experience advising clients throughout all stages of commercial litigation and government-facing investigations at both the state and federal levels, including matters involving state attorneys general, the FTC, and the DOJ. He also has significant first-chair experience, including taking testimony at a recent successfully litigated jury trial.  

Jarred maintains an active pro bono practice. His recent pro bono work includes successfully representing a class of special immigrant juveniles in a federal class action involving violations of various immigration laws.

Jarred received his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he graduated Magna cum laude and served as an associate editor of the Cardozo Law Review. Prior to joining Latham, Jarred interned for Judge Brian M. Cogan of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Prior to law school, Jarred served as a corps member for Teach for America in New Orleans, where he taught fifth-grade. He earned his BA from Tulane University.
