Jane Jeong is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice, focusing on employment law.

Ms. Jeong advises corporate clients on a broad range of employment matters concerning federal, state, and local employment laws. Her practice includes assessing and advising on all employment matters in connection with merger and acquisition transactions; drafting restrictive covenant agreements, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and separation agreements; and counseling clients on day-to-day employment matters – such as equal opportunity practices and policies, pre-employment inquiries, hiring, background checks, exemptions from minimum wage and overtime pay, employee and independent contractor classification, wage and hour practices, employee discipline and termination practices, disability accommodation, leaves of absences, and general employee disputes.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Jeong practiced employment law at two leading law firms in New York.
