Jamie Mansour represents clients across all aspects of contentious and non-contentious international competition law matters, most notably before the European Commission and the UK's Competition and Markets Authority. His practice includes high-profile merger control cases, competition litigation, general antitrust work (including abuse of dominance and cartels), and competition law compliance.

Mr. Mansour advises clients across a range of industry sectors including technology, retail, pharmaceuticals, gaming, financial services, aerospace and defense, and healthcare and life sciences.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Mansour trained and practiced at leading Magic Circle and US firms.

  • NVIDIA on its proposed US$40 billion acquisition of Arm Limited, the Cambridge-headquartered semiconductor and software design company, from SoftBank
  • Farfetch on its global strategic partnership with Alibaba Group and Richemont, to provide luxury brands with enhanced access to the China market and accelerating the digitization of the global luxury industry and other matters
  • A global cloud communications company on regulatory approvals associated with the acquisition of a mobile messaging solutions provider
  • A number of clients active in the gaming industry, most notably Embracer in connection with its acquisition of the game developer Easybrain
  • Bristol Myers Squibb Company in relation to its US$74 billion acquisition of Celgene Corporation, a global biopharmaceutical company*

  • Bain Capital in relation to several acquisitions, most notably including the acquisition of DSM Sinochem Pharmaceuticals, a producer of sustainable antibiotics, next-generation statins and anti-fungals and the acquisition of Rocket Software, a company active in analytics, data and enterprise software*
  • The Boeing Company in relation to the US$4.25 billion acquisition of KLX, a distributor of small spare parts for the aerospace industry*   
  • A medical device company in connection with dawn raids and related investigations in a European state*
  • Tesco in connection with its acquisition of Booker, the largest successful Phase II in the history of the UK grocery market*
  • A manufacturer of smart chip cards in connection with a follow-on competition litigation*
  • CK Hutchison in its landmark appeal to the European Courts in connection with its merger with Telefonia Europe (OR UK)*
