Jake Hummer is a pro bono managing attorney based in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins.
Jake manages and advances the firm’s pro bono practice in the United States with a focus on transactional and microenterprise matters, veteran matters, and public benefits matters. He also supports the firm’s Boston and Washington DC pro bono committees.
Jake originally joined Latham as an associate in the firm’s Finance Department and served as the Boston local leader for Latham’s LGBTQ+ Affinity Group and served as a member of the Boston Pro Bono Committee. Before joining Latham & Watkins, he was a management analyst at FlashVote, a law clerk at Nevada Legal Services, and during law school, served as first-year proctor and BGLTQ specialty proctor for Harvard College. Jake also coached his former high school’s mock trial team.
