Jaime Zucker is a litigation associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins. She advises clients on a wide array of white collar defense and investigations issues, with a focus on government internal investigations in the healthcare industry.

Jaime primarily advises public companies and universities in highly sensitive government investigations, including at the board and executive level. Her experience encompasses:

DOJ civil and criminal investigations
FTC investigations and litigation
Civil rights compliance, investigations, and litigation
Internal investigations

Jaime also represents clients in complex civil litigation and class action litigation.

She maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum in partnership with the National Immigrant Justice Center, students with disabilities in impact litigation under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and Section 1983 plaintiffs in civil rights litigation.

Jaime is a member of Latham's Women Lawyers Group, and serves on the firm’s global Associates Committee.

While attending Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Jaime was a member of the Northwestern University Law Review.

Experience

Jaime’s experience includes:

Conducting internal investigations and developing compliance programs for public companies in response to civil investigative demands and criminal subpoenas from federal and state regulators
Defending large national healthcare organizations — including EHR providers, healthcare systems, insurers, and genetic testing labs — in False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute DOJ civil investigations
Conducting internal investigations and developing remediation programs in response to employee whistleblower reports on behalf of public companies across numerous industries, including a defense contractor, a medical device provider, a provider of skilled nursing facilities, and a consumer retailer
Defending a pharmaceutical waste management company in a multi-year DOJ civil and criminal Controlled Substances Act investigation
Defending universities, hospitals, and grantmaking organizations in Title VI and VII antisemitism and racial discrimination investigations by the Trump administration’s DOJ, Health and Human Services, and Department of Education
Representing retail companies in response to consumer protection FTC civil investigative demands
