Jacob Pintar is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Jacob represents public and private companies in class action litigation, with a focus on matters involving copyright, commercial contracts, and the monopolization of online marketplace platforms. He also advises clients on antitrust issues arising in mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Latham, Jacob served as an extern for the Honorable Timothy J. Kelly of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. During law school, he contributed to the George Mason Law Review, where his student comment, “The Buffer Zone: Using Mental Health Detentions as an Alternative to Arresting Victims of Human Trafficking,” was selected for publication. He participated in Moot Court, winning the National Telecommunications and Technology Competition and earning finalist recognition in his first-year intramural competition. Prior to law school, Jacob taught English in Bulgaria through a Fulbright Grant. He is also an Eagle Scout.
