Jaclyn Kleban is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Restructuring Practice.

Jaclyn represents debtors and various stakeholders on corporate and insolvency matters, including chapter 11 restructurings, out-of-court restructurings and recapitalizations, and M&A transactions. She advises clients on a variety of transactions across various sectors, such as retail, pharmaceuticals, and energy.

In addition to her practice, Jaclyn is committed to pro bono work, having collaborated with various non-profits to advocate and represent underserved clients. Her pro bono efforts include work with the Legal Aid Society, Sanctuary for Families, Brooklyn Defender's Family Defense, and HIAS.

Prior to joining Latham, Jaclyn worked at another international law firm in the corporate restructuring practice.

  • Pine Gate Renewables on its chapter 11 involving over US$7 billion of funded debt and equity capital and multiple asset sales
  • IG Design Group Americas, Inc., a consumer crafting and gift packaging manufacturer and distributor, on its chapter 11 cases
  • True Value Company, one of the world’s leading hardlines wholesalers, on the sale of substantially all of its assets through its chapter 11 cases*
  • Endo Pharmaceuticals on its chapter 11 case, which involved the restructuring of over US$8 billion of debt and the resolution of other litigation-related claims against the company*
  • American Express Global Business Travel on its business combination with Apollo Strategic Growth Capital*
  • CPI International, Inc. on its acquisition of L3 ESSCO, Inc. from an affiliate of L3Harris Technologies, Inc.*
  • Nasdaq on the acquisition of its US fixed-income electronic trading platform by Tradeweb Markets*
