Jack Bergantino advises clients on practical and strategic approaches to data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence compliance.
His experience includes representing clients on compliance efforts under several privacy regimes, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other state and federal frameworks. He also assists clients with drafting and reviewing privacy policies and conducting data privacy and cybersecurity diligence to assess potential liability, compliance, and integration issues.
In addition to his compliance work, Jack has experience representing clients in litigation, including the defense of privacy-related class actions, and has counseled clients on incident response efforts.
He received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he graduated Order of the Coif.
