Ida Mohen is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Project Development & Finance Practice. 

Ida advises sponsors, borrowers, and lenders in connection with project development and finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Ida is a member of the Latham & Watkins London Environmental Sustainability Committee and maintains an active role in the firm’s pro bono practice. 

Ida's experience includes advising:

  • European Investment Bank (EIB) in connection with the financing and development of a 17.5 GWh gigafactory in Sweden
  • The sponsors, led by TotalEnergies, in connection with the project restart of the US$20 billion financing by several ECAs of the development of an LNG project in Mozambique; the transaction was named “Global Multilateral Deal of the Year” of 2020 by Project Finance International
  • The sponsors, led by a leading global commodities trading company, on the project development and financing of a significant railway project in Angola
  • The lenders, including Islamic and commercial banks, on the Al Dur IWPP refinancing, which was recognized by IJGlobal as the “MENA Refinancing of the Year” in 2024
  • A leading energy company on the construction arrangements relating to its CCS project in the Middle East
