Hera Liao is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Liao advises public and private companies on domestic and cross-border transactions. Her experience includes mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and other general corporate matters. 

Ms. Liao maintains an active pro bono practice, representing non-profit entities and entrepreneurs in transactional pro bono matters.

Ms. Liao received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Business Law Scholar. She was also an editor of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and served as the private sector professional chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Liao was a summer associate in the New York office.
