Henna Jalal is a corporate associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Jalal advises public and private companies and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in:

  • Public and private mergers and acquisitions
  • Joint ventures and minority investments
  • Shareholder activism and takeover defense counseling
  • Corporate governance

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Jalal was a summer associate in the firm’s Chicago office.

While attending Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Ms. Jalal served as the membership editor for the Journal of International Law and Business. She also served at the Legal Counsel for Health Justice as a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) fellow.

Ms. Jalal is a member of Latham’s Women Lawyers Group and serves on the firm’s Diversity Leadership Committee.

Ms. Jalal maintains an active pro bono practice, frequently appearing in court as a guardian ad litem in partnership with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
