Hayden Cresson

Hayden Cresson is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. She is a member of the firm’s Finance Department and Restructuring Practice.

Hayden represents companies, lenders, shareholders, and other parties across various industries in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings, as well as in other distressed situations.

Hayden maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum and survivors of domestic violence seeking to gain legal permanent resident status in the United States. In addition to her pro bono activities, Hayden also serves as a mentor to young students in New York City public schools through the Read Ahead program.

Prior to joining Latham, Hayden clerked for the Honorable Thomas M. Horan of the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

While in law school, Hayden was a member of the Student Bar Association, served as Director-in-Chief of the Emory Moot Court Society, and competed in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition.
