Harim (Irene) Lee is a finance associate in the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins.

Irene represents financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporations on a wide range of financing transactions.

As part of her training contract, Irene gained experience across a range of M&A transactions for public companies and private equity sponsors while working in the Hong Kong and London offices of Latham & Watkins.

Irene’s experience includes advising:

  • Carlyle on the refinancing of an existing term loan facility and a revolving credit facility established for financing the acquisition of a minority stake in Hyundai Glovis Co., Ltd.
  • An entity owned 50/50 by Energy Capital Partners and Centrica on its £1.5 billion acquisition of Grain LNG, a UK-based liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the Isle of Grain from National Grid
  • Emperor UK Topco Limited on its sale of a majority stake in Aurora Energy Research, a UK-based consultancy which offers data-driven analytics on European and global energy markets, to TPG Rise Climate
