Halyna Svitlynets MacEwen is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.
Halyna represents public and private companies in a wide range of litigation matters.
Halyna earned her JD from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. While in law school, she served as a Senior Editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal. She also interned on Lyft’s in-house legal team, where she worked on intellectual property, product, and commercial matters.
Additionally, Halyna served as a judicial extern for Judge Charles R. Breyer of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
Prior to law school, Halyna worked as a senior commercial legal analyst on the in-house legal team at Dropbox and as a commercial insurance underwriter at AIG.
