Halle Edwards is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Supreme Court & Appellate Practice.
Halle represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters. Halle’s practice primarily focuses on appeals and dispositive trial court motions, and spans a wide variety of substantive legal areas including constitutional law, administrative law, business and contract disputes, and copyright law.
Halle also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights and access to justice.
Halle returned to Latham in 2025 after serving as a law clerk to Judge Carolyn McHugh on the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Prior to joining Latham, Halle served as a law clerk to Judge Beth Robinson of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to Chief Judge Robert J. Shelby of the US District Court for the District of Utah.
Halle received her JD, magna cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center. While attending law school, Halle served as a Law Fellow in the Legal Practice program, an annual review editor of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law, and a student attorney in the Appellate Litigation Clinic.
