Henry Lin is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Henry advises financial institutions, public companies, buy-side firms, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of equity derivatives, equity-linked transactions, and hybrid capital solutions. In addition, Henry also advises sponsors, placement agents, and investors in connection with collateralized fund obligations.
Henry leverages his commercial perspective and extensive experience to represent clients in:
- Hedging and monetization transactions related to concentrated equity positions
- Margin loans and other equity-based financing transactions
- Convertible debt (and related derivative overlays)
- Fixed and variable share forward sales and related equity offerings
- Structured acquisition and share repurchase transactions
- Structured note offerings
- Fund-linked securities
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Henry was a summer associate in the New York office. Henry has also been a judicial extern in the Southern District of California and a teaching assistant of Real Estate Law in the Anderson School of Management. Henry was elected to the Order of the Coif.
