Gus Gray is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Gus advises banks, private credit providers, and other participants in the alternative lending space on commercial real estate financings in the UK and Europe. 

Gus’ experience encompasses a variety of asset classes and cross-board financing, including:

  • Data centers
  • Logistics
  • Commercial and mixed-use properties
  • Large residential portfolios 

He has also advised on commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and back leverage transactions. 

Prior to joining Latham, Gus was an associate at another leading international law firm.

Gus’ experience includes advising:

  • A private capital provider in connection with the financing of the Canary Wharf retail portfolio financing*
  • A private capital provider in connection with the financing of a German designer outlet village* 
  • A syndicate of lenders in connection with the refinancing of a large Dutch residential portfolio*
  • A syndicate of lenders on the refinancing of a portfolio of logistics assets in the UK*
  • The lenders in connection with the refinancing and related commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) of the Haven holiday parks business owned by Blackstone*
  • Echelon Data Centres in connection with the financing of its European data center platform*
