Gloria M. Ring is an associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins. She regularly advises public and private companies with respect to a broad range of matters, including entity formation, public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities law compliance.

Ms. Ring's practice focuses on representing growth equity firms and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, in connection with:

  • Acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and minority investments
  • Reorganizations, asset and business division carve-outs, and corporate restructurings
  • General corporate matters

Ms. Ring has significant experience representing founders, investors, and acquirors in public and private acquisition and sale transactions in a variety of industry sectors, including retail, technology, and healthcare.

Ms. Ring's experience also includes representing underwriters in connection with capital markets transactions predominately in the life sciences and healthcare industries, including initial public offerings, and follow-on offerings.

While in law school, Ms. Ring served as a member of the Editorial Board for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and Law, as well as a Dillard Fellow, a legal research and writing teaching assistant for first-year law students. She also served as a legal intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Boston.
