Gabriella Badmus is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

She primarily represents clients, such as borrowers and financial institutions, on a broad range of financing transactions.

In particular, Gabriella advises clients on the issuance of esoteric asset-back securitizations, including affordable housing assets and music catalog portfolios.

She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Gabriella earned her JD from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she served as the diversity and inclusion editor for Northwestern’s Journal of International Law and Business, the alumni chair of the Black Law Students Association, and the events coordinator for the Diversity Coalition. Gabriella also worked for the legal department of Universal Music Publishing Group in its Business Affairs department.

Gabriella received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
