Erin Hallagan serves as a Pro Bono Managing Attorney (US) for Latham & Watkins and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and advancing the firm’s pro bono practice with a focus in California.

Ms. Hallagan joined the firm’s San Diego office as an associate in the Litigation & Trial Department’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice, where she primarily represented policyholders in high-stakes insurance coverage litigation and clients in securities class action suits, while maintaining an active pro bono practice.

Before joining Latham, Ms. Hallagan served as a law clerk to Judge James V. Selna of the US District Court for the Central District of California.

Ms. Hallagan graduated from UCLA School of Law with specializations in the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy and the Critical Race Studies Program. As a law student, she served as co-editor in chief for the Women’s Law Journal, discourse editor for the UCLA Law Review, and co-chair of the El Centro Legal U-Visa/VAWA Clinic. Before attending law school, Ms. Hallagan was a bilingual legal advocate for survivors of domestic violence in Chicago.
