Emily J. Viola is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.

Emily represents public and private companies in litigation and during merger clearance. Emily has worked on litigation from the filing of the complaint through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial. Her antitrust litigation experience includes monopolization, monopsonization, and merger challenges brought by both the government and private litigants.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Emily was a summer associate in the New York office. While in law school, Emily was a member of the Fordham Law Review. Emily served as an intern for The Legal Aid Society of New York City and as an extern for the New York Civil Liberties Union. 

Prior to law school, Emily earned her MS in Teaching from Fordham Graduate School of Education and taught Math at a Title I Middle School in Manhattan.
