Emily True is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. True represents private and public companies across a variety of sectors in internal investigations and litigation.

She maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently representing individuals in their criminal appeals as well as parents of students with disabilities and special education needs.

Ms. True earned her JD from the New York University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. True was a judicial intern for Judge Sidney H. Stein of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, served as managing editor of the NYU Review of Law & Social Change, and participated in the New York University School of Law’s Reproductive Justice Clinic.

Prior to law school, Ms. True worked as a paralegal in the litigation practice of another global law firm.
