Emily Rivera is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Rivera received her law degree from Cornell Law School, graduating cum laude. At Cornell, she served as a publishing editor on the Cornell Law Review, a Legal Research and Writing Honors Fellow, and president of the Latin American Law Students Association. While attending law school, Ms. Rivera was a summer associate at Latham in Washington, D.C. and interned at the US District Court for the District of Columbia.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Rivera attended Hamilton College, graduating with a BA in Government & Chinese, and she received a graduate certificate in Chinese & American studies from Johns Hopkins University–Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies.
