Dorothy Canevari is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Prior to joining Latham, Dorothy was a trial attorney at the Federal Programs Branch in the Civil Division of the US Department of Justice. Dorothy has also served as a law clerk to Judge Rosemary Pooler of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Janet Bond Arterton of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Dorothy received her JD, summa cum laude, from William & Mary Law School. While attending law school, she served as managing editor of the William & Mary Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice, was a Legal Practice Fellow, and a member of the Immigration Clinic.
