Devdeep Ghosh is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins’ London office. He primarily handles mergers and acquisitions (particularly in the infrastructure sector), private equity, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Ghosh was a corporate associate at a Magic Circle firm and spent time on secondment to the firm’s Abu Dhabi office.

Mr. Ghosh's experience includes advising:

  • Standard Chartered Bank on the disposal of its private equity division via sale of its investment portfolio to funds managed by Intermediate Capital Group and spin out of the portfolio management business to Affirma Capital*
  • APG on its acquisition of an indirect interest in Alpha Trains*
  • InfraRed, Equitix, and the National Pensions Service of Korea on their acquisition of 100% of High Speed 1* 
  • PSP Investments on its proposed investment in Mumbai International Airport Limited*
  • JP Morgan Infrastructure Investments Fund on its acquisition of Beacon Rail Lux Holdings*
  • Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 5 and West Street Infrastructure Partners on their acquisition of HES International*
  • A final stage bidder consortium on their proposed acquisition of Cory Riverside Energy*
  • A final stage bidder on the proposed acquisition of London City Airport*
